The Oast House is a popular food & drink establishment in the centre of Spinningfields, Manchester and is the home of exciting and innovative events, as well as extremely tasty food!
Every year, from Halloween through to the new year, they have two tipis set up outside the property to act as an external pop-up venue to offer their patrons something exciting and unique in the heart of the city. Dubbed the ‘Curious Teepees’ they are decorated in festive garlands, a fire pit, tables and benches covered with reindeer hides and hundreds of metres of fairy lights – it is simply stunning!
For two years, they ‘tested the waters’ with hiring the tipis over a 3 month long-term hire, but in 2014 they wanted to invest in the structures so that they could use them at other times in the year too. We worked closely with the company to establish a Service Agreement whereby the Oast House owned the tipis but we would store them out of season, in addition to providing onsite assistance and Health & Safety check-backs during the time the tipis were up in Spinningfields.
