Today is an extra special day for us here at The Tipi Company as we received some pretty spectacular photographs of our Little Hats on a beautiful sandy beach all the way in Mexico! We are so proud and pleased to be working with our first ever Mexican Wedding Tipi Hire business, Thipi Events, who are based in the most picturesque location along the Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s north-eastern Yucatán Peninsula.
The team from Thipi Events first contacted us at the start of the year to discuss their ideas and plans for their new business venture, which is always so exciting for us as it gives us an opportunity to build that all-important relationship and trust with our clients. After many discussions, our team and Thipi Events agreed that the perfect product for their business would be our Little Hats.
The Little Hat is a versatile, strong, weatherproof structure, which is shaped like a canopy as it comes without sides as standard – perfect for hosting outdoor events in such high temperatures as guests can move around the space under the canopy and outside freely, without the need to enter through an Entrance Porch, zip or rolled up canvas side. However, the team also decided to purchase sides for each of their Little Hats, enhancing their offering and having the ability to adapt to clients needs and event type. Little Hat sides come in pairs of two in the same plain canvas material as the Little Hat or Clearview panels – the choice is yours!
Designed and manufactured in our HQ in Bolton, Lancashire, three of our Little Hats were packed up in a shipping container and began their journey to Mexico. They soon landed in the safe hands of the wonderful team at Thipi Events, who work in the stunning Rivera Maya area, providing Little Hats and Bell Tents for outdoor weddings, parties, festivals and pop-up glamping accommodation. They have a dedicated team with heaps of experience within the event industry, who each know how to create a magical spaces for a range of events and services. Whether it’s an outdoor bar at a festival, private party on the beach or wedding reception in the great outdoors, Thipi Events’ Little Hats can be used standalone or joined together to create an outdoor event space like no other.
Suffice to say, today is definitely a moment for our history books and something we will never forget. We’ve loved getting to know other corners of the world and building long-lasting relationships with fantastic people from all over the globe.
