Tipis In The Peak is a family-run business founded by husband and wife team Megan and Jack after they were inspired by their own outdoor wedding experience in 2018. The couple wanted a venue that combined the charm of the outdoors with the flexibility to bring in quirky elements, like food trucks and garden games. Their tipi wedding brought such joy that, while on holiday in Lanzarote, the idea struck to start their own tipi hire business.
In 2019, Megan and Jack launched Tipis In The Peak, based in the heart of Derbyshire, covering the Peak District and surrounding areas. Their vision was to help other couples create memorable celebrations by offering the same freedom and uniqueness they experienced at their own wedding.

They began their business with a number of Big Hat tipis and a converted horsebox bar. However, as demand grew for tipi hire, they chose to scale back the bar offering to focus fully on tipis and tents, allowing them to provide an exceptional and specialised experience for their clients.

As well as growing their offering with the addition of a stretch tent and sailcloth marquee.
